What You'll Do

Provide customer service to personnel, drivers, and visitors by following site-specific access control procedures, verifying identification, issuing badges, and directing arrivals to the proper location.
Control entry and exit at gates and/or checkpoints for employees, contractors, and deliveries, including documenting visitor and vehicle activity and supporting shipping and receiving traffic flow.
Monitor alarms, cameras, and other access control systems, reporting irregular activity and completing required logs and incident documentation.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following post orders and client policies and contacting the appropriate parties as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, yard, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify maintenance and/or security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
