Job Description

Works in partnership with departmental leaders to develop, implement, and deliver special events and programs which meet the needs of patients, families, and community served. Within focus area, coordinates and oversees program volunteers in collaboration with program manager. May partner with professional and community organizations on programs and events.

Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business management or health-related field or equivalent combination of education and experience (additional training, education, and/or certification may be required with program assignment)

Job Responsibilities
  • Develops, implements, and evaluates programs and key services of assigned focus area.
  • Coordinates all logistics, vendors, and supplies needed for programs, including program agendas, schedules, volunteer assignments, housing assignments, and meal plans.
  • Creates and maintains program databases.
  • Screens and interviews all program volunteers.
  • Leads and facilitates volunteer orientation and trainings prior to program session.
  • Maintains communication and builds relationships with key stakeholders and donors.
  • Researches and submits proposals for contracts, grants, and funding opportunities.
  • Plans, implements, and supports fundraising events/initiatives in collaboration with Foundation.
  • Evaluates programs, including budget recommendations, reports, and record maintenance to meet external audit requirements.
  • Participates in prior-approved internal or external committee/group and/or community relationship.
  • Works with program managers/directors to manage financial aspects, including program budget and/or aspects of budget.
  • Meets with various departments/disciplines throughout the year to promote programs and encourage participation throughout the system.
  • Leads and facilitates program meetings for advisory committees and medical team members.
  • Leads recruitment efforts for program participants, volunteers, staff, and committee members.
  • Attends required staff meetings.
