You would perform operation and setup of complex machined components for many different industries.
Essential job duties:
- Operate machine tools and perform offset adjustments to ensure parts meet print specifications using written setup instructions.
- Perform repetitive machining tasks with consistency and attention to quality standards.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints, correlating specifications with inspection protocols and documentation requirements.
- Assist in the setup of machine tools under the guidance of experienced machinists.
- Apply foundational knowledge of machining techniques and control functions to support production operations.
- Run multiple machines simultaneously within a production cell to maximize throughput.
- Utilize working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) to support accurate part production.
- Mentor and train operators on repetitive machining tasks to promote skill development and process consistency.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support team and production goals.
Qualifications:
- A High school diploma/CNC technical diploma preferred
- 2+ years of machining experience
- Proficiency in required measuring equipment for respective work performed
- Solid math skills
- A strong mechanical interest/aptitude
- A willingness to learn and grow
