We are looking for a Senior Interior Design professional who shares our values of honesty and integrity, someone ready to take ownership of their work while collaborating with a supportive, multidisciplinary team.
The Role
We are seeking a Senior Interior Designer or Interiors Architect with 13+ years of experience to lead the design and technical execution of interior renovation projects. In this role, you will act as the primary lead for interior scopes, working collaboratively with the oversight of our in-house Senior Project Managers and Leadership team . You will be responsible for high-level space planning, client contact, technical documentation in Revit, and ensuring the successful delivery of diverse projects including education, office, worship, community and healthcare spaces.
What You Will Do
Lead Interior Renovations:
Manage projects from concept through construction administration. You will be the "boots on the ground" for the interior scope, coordinating with contractors and consultants to keep projects on track.
Complex Space Planning:
Execute space planning scenarios that balance code requirements (especially in healthcare/clinical settings) with workflow efficiency and client vision.
Technical Execution in Revit:
Utilize Revit as your primary tool to create high-quality construction documents, details, and models.
Healthcare Design:
Apply your experience with healthcare guidelines (FGI), codes, and durable material selections to medical offices, clinics, and wellness facilities.
Client & Team
Collaboration:
Work directly with our Project Managers to maintain project schedules and mentor junior staff when applicable. You'll have front-facing opportunity to work directly with our Clients, Design Consultants and Construction teams.
What We Are Looking For
Experience:
10+ years of professional experience in an architecture or interior design firm.
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture.
Healthcare Expertise:
You must have a portfolio demonstrating experience with Healthcare projects (clinics, labs, medical office buildings, etc.); including experience in Education and Commercial/Retail sectors.
Technical
Skills:
Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit is a MUST . You must be comfortable modeling and documenting complex interiors independently.
Project Management Capable:
You should be comfortable leading a project meeting, managing a timeline, and coordinating engineering consultants.
Preferred Qualifications
NCIDQ Certification is preferred.
Experience with rendering tools is a plus.
