About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead commercial, clean room, pharmaceutical, and semiconductor projects based out of Danbury, CT. This position is ideal for a hands‑on leader who can confidently manage technical scopes, coordinate cross‑functional teams, and deliver consistent results on high‑stakes builds.

What You'll Lead

* Full lifecycle management of construction projects from planning through closeout

* Development and oversight of project budgets, schedules, and resource plans

* Coordination with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors

* Enforcement of safety standards, building codes, and quality specifications

* Monitoring progress and adjusting strategies to keep projects on track

* Preparing and delivering clear project updates for all stakeholders

* Rapid resolution of issues occurring on‑site or during planning

* Fostering strong teamwork, communication, and a positive project culture

* Conducting routine site visits to ensure safety and specification alignment

* Identifying, assessing, and mitigating project risks

* Managing procurement for timely and cost‑effective materials and equipment

* Leading project meetings and maintaining project documentation

What You Bring

* Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field

* 5+ years managing commercial, clean room, pharmaceutical, or semiconductor projects

* Proven ability to deliver large‑scale, technically complex builds

* Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, codes, and best practices

* Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills

* Proficiency with modern project management tools and software

* Ability to perform in fast‑moving environments while balancing multiple priorities

* Strong analytical and decision‑making abilities

Preferred Experience

* PMP or similar certification

* Knowledge of sustainable construction or LEED practices

* Experience with RFIs, submittals, take‑offs, and change orders

* Familiarity with MS Project, Procore, and Sage

* Background in healthcare, manufacturing, biopharma, or other technical facilities

* Experience managing projects ranging from $500k to $20M, especially within the $3M-$5M range

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brookfield, CT.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $160000.00/hr.
