CCA, LLC, a division of Haley Ward, is looking for a Landscape Architect who will collaborate with clients, engineers, architects, and planners to design and implement outdoor spaces that enhance the aesthetics and functionality of our projects. This role involves creating landscape designs that meet client needs, regulatory requirements, and sustainability goals.
- Develop landscape designs for various projects, including residential, commercial, industrial, and public spaces.
- Conduct site assessments and analyze environmental conditions to inform design decisions.
- Create detailed plans, sketches, and presentations using CAD software and other design tools.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate landscape architecture into civil engineering projects.
- Prepare and present project proposals to clients and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations concerning landscape architecture.
- Conduct research on materials, plants, and sustainable practices to inform design choices.
- Manage project budgets and timelines effectively.
- Participate in community engagement initiatives and public meetings as needed.
- Present applications and testimony to land use boards and commissions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture or related field.
- Professional licensure in Landscape Architecture (or in progress).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Landscape Architecture.
- Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, Sketch Up, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.).
- Strong understanding of horticulture, environmental restoration, and sustainable design practices.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong project management skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.
- Valid driver’s license & reliable transportation required.
- Occasional local travel for site visits and client meetings.
A criminal background check and driving record check will be conducted.
