We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to join our growing team in Brookfield, CT. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven professional with deep experience in commercial, clean room, pharmaceutical, and semiconductor construction. In this role, you'll take ownership of impactful projects-leading teams, guiding clients, and ensuring exceptional results from pre‑construction through final delivery.
What You'll Do
As a key leader in our field operations, you will:
* Manage all phases of construction projects-from planning and budgeting to execution and closeout.
* Build and oversee detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
* Collaborate closely with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams to deliver outstanding project outcomes.
* Ensure all work meets safety standards, building codes, and quality requirements.
* Track progress regularly, identify issues early, and adjust plans to stay on schedule and on budget.
* Prepare and share comprehensive project status reports with stakeholders.
* Facilitate and lead effective project meetings and promote clear communication across teams.
* Conduct regular site inspections to verify work quality and adherence to specifications.
* Implement strong risk management strategies to prevent or mitigate potential challenges.
* Oversee procurement of materials and equipment to ensure timely, cost‑efficient delivery.
* Manage financial performance, including monitoring and settlement of project costs.
* Provide supervision and mentorship to project staff to ensure high-quality work and professional development.
* Drive the project lifecycle-from work preparation to successful final handoff-ensuring excellence at every stage.
What You Bring
* Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
* 5+ years of construction project management experience, ideally with commercial, clean room, pharmaceutical, or semiconductor projects.
* A strong track record of delivering large-scale projects successfully.
* Deep knowledge of construction methods, materials, safety standards, and regulations.
* Exceptional leadership, communication, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities.
* Proficiency in project management software and digital tools.
* Ability to manage competing priorities, work under pressure, and uphold high-quality standards.
* Strong analytical skills and confidence in making informed decisions.
Preferred Qualifications
* PMP certification or equivalent credential.
* Familiarity with sustainable construction or LEED practices.
* Experience with change orders, RFIs, submittals, take-offs, and similar project documentation.
* Proficiency with software such as MS Project, Procore, and Sage.
* Background in healthcare, biopharma, manufacturing, or clean room construction.
Work Environment
* Schedule:
7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
* Project Locations:
Primarily across Connecticut (Fairfield, Hartford, and New Haven counties) with an additional site in Poughkeepsie, NY.
* Work Setting:
Time spent both at our Brookfield headquarters and onsite at active projects.
* Project Types:
Ground‑up builds, office fit‑outs, and renovations.
* Project Size: $500K to $20M, with a concentration in the $3M-$5M range.
* Project Mix:
Approximately 75% clean room projects.
Job Type & Location
This is a Permanent position based out of Brookfield, CT.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $160000.00/hr.
