Delivery Specialist

$11.00 - $17.00 per hour. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation may include annual and quarterly performance bonuses, as well as premiums that can vary by schedule, facility, season, or specific tasks performed; multiple premiums may apply if criteria are met.

• Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers safely and efficiently.
• Use delivery fleet management hand‑held devices to process deliveries, capture customer signatures, update vehicle mileage, and complete daily vehicle inspections.
• Keep vehicles clean, maintained, and complete daily vehicle inspections before operating.
• Keep delivery vehicles, keys, fuel/fleet credit cards, hand‑held devices, and collected monies secure at all times.
• Pick up customer returns (new, warranty, cores, etc.) and fill out driver return slips.
• Communicate any problems or special needs from customers to store management.
• Report vehicle maintenance needs, accidents, or vehicle damage to store manager immediately.
• Ensure the fuel tank is filled and lock and secure the vehicle at the end of the day.
• Clock in/out according to company policy.
• Perform other duties as assigned, including customer service, sweeping, general stocking, merchandising, running errands, handling core returns, checking in and putting up stock orders, etc.
• May occasionally assist customers, serve as a cashier, and/or help with merchandising tasks when business dictates (e.g., phones, sales and service).
• All other duties as assigned.

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations.
• Driving record must meet the company’s 14/18‑point record system standards.
• Possession of a legally required state driver’s license and meeting company‑mandated driving eligibility requirements.

• Familiarity with automotive parts.
• Ability to operate other light store equipment.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).
