HX5 is currently seeking an Aerospace/Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Brook Park, Ohio in support of the Test Facilities Operation, Maintenance and Engineering (TFOME) contract at NASA Glenn Research Center. The TFOME team at the NASA Glenn Research Center provides engineering and technical services in the aeronautics, space power and propulsion test facilities.
ResponsibilitiesProvide technical and managerial direction for preparing plans and procedures to operate engineering systems.
Provide engineering support to operational activities, including fabrication, assembly, verification, construction, installation, integration, checkout, inspection, troubleshooting, and modification of engineering systems.
Conduct hazard analyses, safety reviews, operational readiness reviews, and operator training.
Develop data acquisition programs to meet test requirements and validate data accuracy.
Interface with customers at all levels.
- BS in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or another related engineering discipline. (Additional years of related experience may count as an educational equivalency.)
- Five (5) years of professional experience is required.
- Familiarity with MS Office products is a must.
- Engineering degree from an ABET accredited institution
- Direct knowledge of Matlab, Python, C++, Fortran, Visual Basic, AUTOCAD, MATHCAD, and SPICE is highly desirable.
