Project Superintendent
Objectives of this RoleAssist the Project Manager in managing all construction processes. The Project Superintendent must be adaptable to project specific requirements and client needs, as well as have strong communication skills. Previous experience managing Commercial, Higher Education, K-12 and Healthcare projects.

Job Responsibilities
- Demonstrates strong knowledge of commercial construction and exceptional jobsite management skills. Delivers on key projects and commitments via professional knowledge and leadership abilities.
- Fosters long-term relationships with owner, designer, subcontractor & vendors.
- Possesses detailed process & application knowledge relating to building codes, budget management, construction practices.
- Leads and/or assists with job set-up, communications, safety compliance, record-keeping, quality control and closeout as needed.
- Ensures on-time delivery while maintaining team focus on safety, quality and budget.
- Foresee potential problem areas and develop methods to solve problem situations
- Assumes primary responsibility for leading, implementing and enforcing jobsite safety requirements and Quality Assurance Program.
- Promote and support the Company's Accident Prevention and Safety and Health Programs and Drug-Free Workplace Policy.
- Manage the construction schedule by scheduling the necessary subcontractors in the time frame they are needed and ensure that they stay on schedule to complete their phase of the project on time with the quality. Assist with Development and complete monthly updates of the Project Schedule. Drive project schedule including day to day supervision and coordination of construction activities.
- Develop and maintain site logistics.
- Understand drawings, specifications, and terms/conditions of owner contract and subcontracts.
- Ensure that all lay out is accurate and that information is conveyed to all trades being performed.
- Assist with reviewing submittals and field checking of dimensions.
- Ensure that the proper materials are delivered to the job site in a timely manner and that the quantity and quality of all materials are what is required for the job.
- Assume other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- 5+ years of commercial construction experience
- Ability to work non-traditional hours.
- Strong technology skills:
Proficient in Word, Outlook, Excel, Procore and various systems. - Strong leadership, conflict management and communication skills (verbal and written); able to build rapport and negotiate skillfully.
- Strong organizational and planning skills; able to effectively allocate and develop resources.
- Results-focused; able to effectively delegate and follow-up.
- Professional, dependable and ethical. Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality at all times.
- 30 hour OSHA training certificate.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and pass a pre-employment drug screen.
