** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to clients at a government location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as needed.

+ Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas; document observations and report unusual conditions that may help to deter incidents.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; request assistance from law enforcement and/or emergency services when appropriate.

+ Control access at designated points by verifying identification and/or authorization, directing visitors, and maintaining required visitor, vehicle, and/or package screening logs.

+ Carry and handle issued firearm and related equipment in accordance with Allied Universal policies, post orders, and applicable laws; complete required checks, secure storage, and written reports.

* Minimum Requirements:

*
* + Possess a Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.

+ Have security-related experience of 6+ months.

+ Possess an Armed Guard Card/License.

+ Provide proof of high school diploma and/or GED as required by the client.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
