Join Allied Universal at a government location as an Armed Patrol Officer, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will respond to situations with calm professionalism, communicate clearly with staff and visitors, and deliver customer-focused service.

This is an armed post requiring an Armed Guard Card or License and a Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.

** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to personnel and visitors at a government location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as needed.

+ Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior areas, entrances, and perimeter zones to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify hazards or maintenance concerns.

+ Monitor access points, verify identification and/or authorization, and maintain control of keys, badges, and other access devices in accordance with post orders.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with site representatives and/or public agencies when required.

+ Complete detailed reports on patrol activities, incidents, and observations, and communicate significant information promptly through established notification channels.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + Possess a Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.

+ Have security experience of 6+ months.

+ Possess an Armed Guard Card/License.

+ Client requires proof of HS Diploma/GED.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
