Security Officer - Armed Roving Patrol

Allied Universal -  -  - Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and contractors by following site-specific security-related procedures, government facility policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities;
Conduct armed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter points, including regular and random checks of doors, gates, loading areas, and restricted locations to help to deter unauthorized activity;
Monitor access control points by verifying identification, managing visitor entry, and directing foot and vehicle traffic in accordance with post orders and client requirements;
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, requesting public emergency services as needed and providing clear updates to appropriate personnel;
Complete written and/or electronic reports, maintain required logs, and communicate unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns through the established chain of command
