This is an ER Holding area position. RN will be assigned Med/Surg & Tele patients only who are currently in the ED waiting for bed space on the Med/Tele floors. The patients in ERG are admitted patients located in the ED awaiting a bed on one of the inpatient units. The RN would be completing the inpatient documentation needed for the patients, carry out MD orders and administer medications.

The patient will either be discharged from ERG or transported upstairs once they receive a bed assignment.
