Adolescent Psychiatric Registered Nurse (RN) - Night Shift Location

This is a 13-week contract position.

12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Adolescent Psychiatric Registered Nurse (RN) to work in our adolescent psychiatric unit. The ideal candidate will be skilled in providing high-quality psychiatric care to patients aged 5 to 17 years old, focusing on connecting and communicating effectively with this vulnerable population.

• Manage and provide care to patients in accordance with best practices and established protocols.
• Engage with patients through therapeutic communication and create a trusting environment.
• Monitor patient behaviors and provide consistent observation and care during assigned shifts.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Participate in regular staff meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a psychiatric nursing setting.
• Pediatric clinical experience is preferred.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
• Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) or Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB) certification required prior to start.
• BSN preferred.
