Summary:

• The position involves providing and coordinating patient care in an ambulatory setting in Brooklyn, NY.

• This full-time role requires working from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm with rotating Saturdays.

• Candidates should have experience in nursing, preferably in ambulatory, medical surgery, or ER settings, and be proficient with generic computer applications.

Requirements

• AAS/BS in Nursing, Bachelor's Degree Preferred

• Minimum of one year nursing experience in an Ambulatory/Medical Surgery/ER setting preferred

• Minimum of two years nursing experience

• Experience with telephone triage and diagnosis procedures

• Current New York State Registered Professional Nursing license

• Current BCLS certification

• Current Infection Control and Child Abuse Certificates

Qualifications

• Experience in assessing patients

• Knowledge of medications

• Proficient in using computer applications

• Ability to multi-task successfully

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Telephone communication skills with empathy and respect

• Ability to make critical independent decisions and prioritize appropriately.
