In collaboration with teachers, the LAM will analyze data collected from the CKLA, STEP Literacy, NWEA, and 2025 NYS ELA assessments, to identify skill deficits and develop

reading instruction, and work with assigned students.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Review past CKLA, STEP Literacy, NWEA, and 2025 NYS ELA assessments to identify students' skill deficits and develop small intervention groups.
* Collaborate with classroom teachers, the RTI team, and the Director of Literacy to ascertain prior intervention supports, if any, and use the above data to measure outcomes of all student interventions.
* Track on-going student intervention plans, and provide data-driven feedback to the Director of Literacy.
* Participate in grade-level meetings to help develop and implement plans.
* Assist with the school's literacy assessment procedures, data collection, and analysis.
* Work with assigned students to close achievement gaps.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
* Proven data analysis skills and the ability to translate this knowledge into student and teacher action plans.
* Ability to produce detailed data reports and projections as needed, supporting decision-making processes without conflicts.
* 3+ years of elementary classroom experience.
* Familiarity with the Core Knowledge Language Arts (CKLA) curriculum, Fundations, and other literacy intervention programs.
* Good interpersonal skills (communication, problem solving, team building, and collaboration) to share research-based instructional approaches with teachers
and administrators and give advice on small-group interventions.
* Strong organizational skills.
* Proficiency with PCs and basic software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
The Literacy Analytics Manager salary range is $90,000-$100,000, depending on experience. Generous benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 403b retirement plan, and 4 weeks of vacation per year.
TO APPLY
Please submit a resume and cover letter below. Your cover letter must detail your specific experience and expertise with respect to the 4 qualifications listed above, particularly your expertise in the CKLA curriculum. Applications submitted without a cover letter
