Relief Support Worker

Creative Support is looking for a warm, reliable and proactive Relief Support Worker to join our friendly staff team in Bromsgrove, Worcestershire. We provide quality care and support to individuals with a range of support needs including learning disabilities, Autism, and mental health needs. Our vibrant supported living service in Bromsgrove is home to 14 service users living in self-contained flats.

No two days will be the same as we support our service users to follow their passions and engage in activities such as cooking/baking, board games, movie nights, arts and crafts and more. We are looking for someone with a great sense of humour who is ready to join a friendly and energetic staff team.

• Providing personal care, administering medication and lone working
• Encouraging service users to engage in a range of exciting social activities both within and outside their homes
• Developing warm and trusting relationships with service users and their families to help them enjoy their time at the service to the fullest
• Working full time hours (37.5 hours per week) with a willingness to work sleep-ins

• Previous experience is essential
• A full local and corporate induction will be provided

This is a relief position, enabling you to pick up shifts at times that suit you, ideal for fitting around personal commitments, study or caring responsibilities. The flexible shift pattern includes evenings, weekends and sleep-ins. The service has great public transport links and is a 5 minute walk away from the bus station.
