Senior Infrastructure Engineer

Join Our Team as an IT Infrastructure Engineer – Bromsgrove (Hybrid Working)
The Best Connection Group Limited is expanding its IT team and we’re looking for a skilled IT Infrastructure Engineer to help keep our technology running smoothly. Based at our modern Head Office in Bromsgrove, you’ll work closely with the IT Manager and play a key role in maintaining, supporting, and improving our core systems.

What You’ll Be Doing

Acting as an escalation point for 2nd/3rd line service desk queries

• Monitoring and maintaining our core servers and IT systems

• Investigating incidents and performing root cause analysis

• Supporting and enhancing our UK-wide infrastructure

• Hybrid working – up to 40% of the time, with occasional travel to our UK data centres and branch locations What’s in It for You?

Competitive salary: £45,000 – £55,000 (DOE)

Essential:

• IT Degree or equivalent qualification

• Intermediate certifications (MS, Cisco, VMWare or similar)

• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities

• Proven 2nd/3rd line support experience

• Confident communicator with strong English skills

• Flexible to work occasional weekends or out-of-hours

Desirable:

• Advanced certifications (MS, Cisco, VMWare or similar)

• Solid 3rd line or senior support experience

• Strong networking background

• Experience with Azure environments

• Full UK driving licence

Hours of Work

Monday – Friday | Up to 37.5 hours per week
Includes a 1-hour lunch break each day.

Office-based in Bromsgrove for the first 6 months, with hybrid working thereafter.
