Bromley - QSW - Referral & Assessment Team - Umb; Temporary

Position: Bromley - QSW - Referral & Assessment Team - £37.52 p/h Umb (Temporary)
Eden Brown Synergy are currently looking for an experienced Qualified Social Worker to join the Referral & Assessment Team at the London Borough of Bromley.

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Managing referrals and undertaking child and family assessments under S17 and S47 of the Children Act.

* Completing timely, child-focused and outcome-led assessments in line with statutory guidance and local procedures.

* Identifying risk, need and protective factors to inform decision-making and planning.

* Responding to safeguarding concerns and determining appropriate levels of intervention.

* Working directly with children and families using a strengths-based and child-centred approach.

* Liaising with partner agencies including health, police and education as part of a multi-agency framework.

* Making clear recommendations regarding next steps, support services or escalation where required.

* Maintaining accurate, timely and high-quality case recordings in line with statutory requirements.

Pay Rate:
* £37.52 p/h Umbrella

Essential Requirements:

* Social Work qualification - Degree or equivalent

* Social Work England registration

* Experience with in Referral & Assessment, Duty & Assessment or Front Door teams

* Sound knowledge of safeguarding legislation and statutory guidance

* Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced environment
