We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Adult Senior Social Worker to join the Learning Disability Team in Bromley. This locum position offers a rewarding opportunity to provide specialist social work leadership and case management, helping adults with learning disabilities achieve greater independence, wellbeing, and quality of life.

Purpose of the RoleProvide specialist social work leadership and case management for adults with learning disabilities, ensuring high-quality, person-centred support and safeguarding.
What You Will DoConduct statutory assessments under the Care Act 2014 to determine care and support needs.
Develop and implement personalised, collaborative care plans with service users, carers, and multidisciplinary teams.
Regularly review outcomes, adapting plans to meet changing needs.
Lead complex cases, including high-risk or safeguarding concerns.
Assess and manage safeguarding risks, leading inquiries and liaising with the Safeguarding Adults Board and partner agencies.
Mentor and supervise junior social workers, promoting reflective practice and professional growth.
Contribute to planning, quality assurance, and audit processes to ensure excellent service delivery.
Build effective partnerships with healthcare, housing, education, voluntary sector, and advocacy services.
Maintain accurate records, adhere to Social Work England standards, and participate in supervision.
Provide expert advice to families, carers, and colleagues, supporting service improvement initiatives.
