Site Manager – London & South East

London & South East (site-based)
Salary: £40,000 – £52,000 (DOE)

We are a recruitment agency working with a growing property investment and development company specialising in residential refurbishment and multi-unit conversions. They are seeking a hands-on Site Manager to take full ownership of live projects from start to completion.

Key responsibilities:

* Manage sites from strip-out to practical completion

* Take full ownership of programme delivery

* Sequence works to meet milestones

* Coordinate multiple trades on site

* Manage subcontractors and direct labour

* Monitor productivity and quality

* Maintain health and safety compliance

* Keep sites organised and presentable

* Ensure works meet drawings and specifications

* Uphold internal quality standards

* Capture photo and video progress evidence

* Maintain accurate site records

* Coordinate Building Control inspections

* Manage snagging through to completion

* Resolve site issues proactively

* Escalate risks and delays appropriately

* Monitor variations and flag cost implications

* Ensure works are properly authorised

* Provide regular progress updates to Head Office

* Communicate clearly with Project Managers

* Support smooth project handovers

* Assist during initial aftercare period

* Work independently while following company processes

* Contribute to continuous improvement on site

Requirements:

-Experience as a Site Manager on refurbishment projects

-Strong residential construction knowledge

-Confident coordinating multiple trades

-Organised with strong attention to detail

-Able to take full ownership of a site

-SSSTS (or equivalent)

-Valid CSCS card
