Position: Building Surveyor (Permanent)

Bromley, Kent
Salary £45,000 to £55,000 + Car Allowance + Pension + 25 Days Holiday

Blaymires Recruitment is working with an established and well-respected multidisciplinary property and construction consultancy based in Bromley, who are seeking a Building Surveyor to join their growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a mid-level Building Surveyor who is looking to step up in responsibility, project size and client exposure within a supportive consultancy environment.

The role would suit a Building Surveyor currently operating at mid-level, or a confident Assistant Building Surveyor ready to take the next step.

Key Responsibilities

* Deliver a full range of building surveying services across public and private sector projects

* Undertake condition surveys, defects analysis, dilapidations and technical reports

* Assist with and manage contract administration and project delivery

* Support senior team members on larger and more complex projects, while managing your own workload

* Liaise with clients, consultants and contractors to ensure projects are delivered successfully

* Contribute to the continued development of client relationships and internal processes

About You

* Degree-qualified in Building Surveying or a related discipline

* 2–5+ years’ experience within a consultancy or similar professional environment

* Working towards MRICS or keen to begin/continue the pathway

* Confident, professional and comfortable in a client-facing role

* Motivated to take on greater responsibility and autonomy

* Strong written and verbal communication skills
