Oklahoma Forensic Center / Nursing Department - Vacancies:

Licensed Practical Nurses will provide direct care for consumers receiving behavioral health treatment in a secure inpatient forensic facility under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed physician. Responsibilities include taking vital signs, assessing and recording health status, participating in responses to interventions, administering medications, reporting to supervisors, and serving as a charge nurse on the unit.
Minimum Qualifications And Experience- Level III
:
Possession of a valid permanent Oklahoma license as a licensed practical nurse (or license recognized by the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact) plus two years of practical nursing experience. - Level II
:
Possession of a valid permanent Oklahoma license as a licensed practical nurse (or license recognized by the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact) plus one year of practical nursing experience. - Level I:
Possession of a valid permanent Oklahoma license as a licensed practical nurse (or license recognized by the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact).
- Must pass an OSBI background check.
- Must be willing and able to travel as required for the position and possess a valid driver’s license.
- Must pass a physical examination that includes lifting/carrying 50 lbs and pushing/pulling a maximum force of 25 lbs.
