We are partnering with a manufacturing client to fill a direct hire Manufacturing Quality Engineer role. This position is responsible for leading and overseeing the company’s quality management system, ensuring compliance with ASME standards, customer requirements, and internal quality policies while driving continuous improvement across manufacturing operations. The role works closely with QC technicians, operations, suppliers, and customers, with a strong emphasis on safety, quality, and process improvement in a metals manufacturing environment.
Key responsibilities include managing nonconformance and corrective actions, overseeing calibration and welding documentation, supporting audits and inspections, maintaining product traceability, developing quality metrics, and serving as the primary quality liaison for customers, suppliers, and third-party inspectors. This individual will also support large vessel inspections, identify and report quality issues, and contribute a quality-focused perspective to production and process improvements.
Compensation & Benefits:
- $90,000–$105,000 base salary

Requirements:
- Engineering degree required (Mechanical or Industrial preferred; Civil considered)
- 5+ years of Quality Engineer experience with some supervisory responsibility
- 3+ years of experience in metals manufacturing or broader manufacturing environments
- Strong knowledge of quality systems, audits, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement
- Safety-first mindset and comfort working in a manufacturing setting
