QUALIFICATIONS
Possess a minimum of a Bachelor'sdegree from an accredited university. The Board of Education and the Superintendent may approve appropriate and acceptable alternatives to the listed qualifications. Supervisory & management skills are required, and experience working with groups of people is preferred. Good communication skills are required. This job requires knowledge of appropriate equipment, applications and verbal & writing skills. This individual must possess a valid Oklahoma driver's license, be able to walk, bend, stoop, climb stairs, and lift up to 50 pounds.
RESPONSIBILITIESOverseeing the organizational technology strategy, infrastructure and team. Responsible for aligning IT with educational goals through strategic planning, budget management, E-Rate management, security oversight project delivery, hardware management, software, networks, staff, and vendors while ensuring efficient operations and risk management.

REPORTS TOExecutive Director of Special Services & School Operations
EVALUATED BYExecutive Director of Special Services & School Operations
SUPERVISESIT Specialists and other assigned technology staff.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS- Develop and implement IT strategies, define the IT vision, and align technology with objectives.
- Recruit, train, and lead IT staff to foster a productive environment and manage performance.
- Prepare and manage IT budgets, oversee contracts, and build relationships with external technology providers.
- Oversee management of networks, servers, applications, hardware, software, telecommunications, etc.
- Oversee data security, implement risk management, ensure regulator compliance, and manage emergency recovery plans.
- Oversee all IT projects, from development to deployment, ensuring quality, timelines, and budget adherence.
- Ensure efficient daily IT operations, manage help desks, resolve issues, and support users. Support the District Instructional Technologists and all non-district entities providing district services.
- Serve on the District Software Committee.
