ACS has been serving the Small & Medium size Business (SMB) Community since 1985. Our goal is to treat every client with the highest level of respect, integrity, and professionalism, while providing the optimum level of service our industry has to offer. Approx. 45 employees, located in Brockton Mass, residing in a 10,000 sq. Ft., Network Operations Center.
The main line of business provided by ACS is Managed IT Services or Managed Services. Managed Services come in several varieties:
Managed Help Desk, Managed Server Administration, Managed Disaster Recovery (DR) Prevention and Managed Cloud Computing.
Sales Development Representative (SDR). This is an inside salesperson who must prospect for new business and set appointments for the Business Development Managers (BDM). Prospecting will be in the form of several channels, the most effective to date are Email, Cold Calling, and Networking. ACS will provide scripts for both email and phone, sales training, and lists to assist in lead generation.
Historically, effort produces results for this role. It will be important to define metrics around activity and work to hit the numbers.
Example: If the goal is to get 3 appointments per week. It’s important to understand the following metric, how many touch points are needed to get said appointment? Touch points consist of calling, emailing, networking and social media messages.
Historically, there is a ramp-up period of 1-2 months to get traction. Higher activity will close this gap.
Salary
: A base salary with an uncapped commission plan. Typical Year 1 salary ranges between $50,000 and $85,000. Year 2 SDR Salary Ranges between $65,000 and $95,000 with options of promotion.
The SDR position is the first sales position on the ladder s position is where the rep is learning the role but is also learning the business and what ACS offers their clients.
- The next step is the Business Development Manager (BDM), this role is where the salesperson has now built a network and has been given an industry/territory to work in. This person understands the industry/services ACS offers and is frequently bringing in new business monthly. Salary typically doubles once this jump is made.
