We are seeking a Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) for a School Nurse position in Massachusetts. This is a temp opportunity covering a maternity leave
offering the chance to join a supportive school community while making a direct impact on student health and wellness.
Schedule
- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 8am-3PM, Wednesday 8am-1pm.
The School Nurse provides skilled nursing care to students and staff, including illness assessment, medication administration, emergency response, chronic disease management, and state‑mandated health screenings. This role also partners with families, educators, and healthcare providers to support students with medical and emotional needs, maintain immunization compliance (per DPH regulations), and promote school‑wide health initiatives.
Qualifications- Active Massachusetts RN license
- BSN required
- School Nurse Certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
- CPR certification (adult & child)
- 2+ years pediatric or community health experience preferred
