Registered Nurse; RN - Psychiatry

Overview

Signet Health, a national behavioral health management company, is recruiting full-time Registered Nurses for psychiatric inpatient services for an 18-bed adult unit at Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital in Brockton, MA.

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible, as part of the healthcare team, for the care and management of inpatients during their visit. The RN will perform professional clinical duties including care, treatment, documentation, education and medication administration to assure safe patient care for Behavioral Health patients in the Psychiatry Department.

• Provide professional nursing care to psychiatric inpatients in an 18-bed adult unit.
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses per physician orders.
• Document patient care activities and maintain accurate records.
• Educate patients and families as appropriate and collaborate with the care team.

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Licensed in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a Registered Nurse.
• Current American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers completion.
• One-two years of successful working experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Previous Psychiatry experience required.
