Registered Nurse - Float (36 Hour, Days/Nights)
The Float Registered Nurse provides individualized nursing care to patients across all age groups, including infants, children, adults, and the elderly. The RN must address the unique needs of patients with impairments such as hearing and vision loss, substance abuse, language barriers, and potential abuse victims. The RN applies the organization’s commitment to patient rights, mission, vision, and values in every aspect of nursing practice.
Responsibilities- Deliver comprehensive nursing care, including health maintenance, teaching, counseling, and collaborative planning.
- Assume full responsibility for the quality of care, including patient outcomes, and provide leadership in nursing practice.
- Maintain excellent assessment, clinical, organizational, and computer skills, and be able to lift, transfer, and move patients.
- Communicate verbally and in writing in English, and perform mathematical computations required for treatment protocols.
- Education:
Nursing degree required (Diploma, ASN, or BSN preferred). Ability to obtain BSN within 4 years required. - Experience:
Previous RN experience required. - Licensure & Certification: MA RN license, BLS, ACLS required.
$38.10 – $77.63 per hour. This estimate is based on the minimum job qualifications and includes broad factors such as education, experience, and licensure/certifications.
