Registered Nurse (RN), A5 Med Surg/Tele, Part‑Time Flex Nights

Signature Healthcare in Brockton, MA is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join the A5 Medical‑Surgical unit. The role is a part‑time flex position with a 12‑hour night shift schedule.

• Collect relevant patient health data and conduct assessments specific to the specialty area.
• Analyze assessment data to determine nursing diagnoses.
• Identify individualized expected outcomes for each patient.
• Develop and implement a Plan of Care to achieve expected outcomes.
• Evaluate and document patient progress toward outcomes in the medical record.
• Provide nursing care to assigned patients.
• Administer prescribed medications and intravenous solutions safely.
• Report significant changes in patient condition to the physician.
• Counsel, educate, and involve patients and families in the overall plan of care.
• Assist patients and families in coping with stress associated with illness and support those approaching death.
• Evaluate the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice.
• Reflect current professional practice standards, laws, and changes in health‑care delivery in daily practice.
• Maintain current knowledge and competency in patient care.
• Collaborate with peers and other health‑care providers to deliver humane and caring patient care.
• Apply clinical inquiry to practice and improve patient care.
• Use resource utilization skills to consider safety, effectiveness, and cost in patient care planning.

• Graduated from an approved nursing school; entry‑level experience acceptable.
• Registered as a RN in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
• Current American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers certification.

• Experience with Meditech electronic health record system.
