Overview

Purpose Of Position:
Under the general direction of the Nurse Manager, Psychiatry, provides direct care to inpatients, ages 16 through geriatric, and their families experiencing social and personal adjustment problems caused or complicated by psychiatric or chemical dependency illness or disability. Assesses, diagnoses, plans treatment and provides individual and group therapy. Functions within a managed care service delivery model.
