Pay Range: $28.20/hr
Status: Full Time; M-F, 8am-4:30pm
High Point & Affiliated Organizations is a health and human service agency whose mission is to treat and prevent substance use disorders and mental illness. High Point has programs located throughout Southeastern Massachusetts offering a full continuum of care for substance use and mental health treatment, including inpatient, outpatient, residential, and community-based services. Programs and services also assist survivors of abuse, violence, and families experiencing homelessness.

Knowledge of detoxification, the substance use disorder concept, and self-help programs used to treat addiction, and or other behavioral health issues
Ability to maintain therapeutic boundaries
An understanding of ethics
Ability to set limits and enforce rules in a respectful manner
Ability to assess and resolve scheduling, training and personnel issues
Ability to communicate verbally and in writing
Basic computer skills
CPR certification (provided in onboarding w/ HPAO)
Certification in the High Point & Affiliated Organizations (HPAO) approved de-escalation program
Annual TB screening
Recovery Specialist SupervisorJob Duties
Compliance with federal regulations, 42 CFR Part 2, Confidentiality of Alcohol Abuse Policy and HIPAA regulations
Attends required meetings, mandatory trainings, and maintains competencies
Performs all Recovery Specialist duties as necessary
Responsible for hiring, training, supervising, and disciplinary action/termination of RS staff as required
Resolves scheduling, training, staff competencies, and any staff concerns
Provides direct supervision to all Recovery Specialists as required and conducts monthly staff meetings as required
Weekly and as needed review of cameras and completion of required documentation
Completion of mock codes and fire drills by self of assignee
Reviewing and approving timesheets and time off requests of Recovery Specialists
Routinely review client charts to ensure that the structure and substance are in accordance with licensing and accreditation standards
Meet with the Site Director regularly to review all program process issues and all issues pertinent to quality care and organizational health and viability
All other duties as assigned by the Site Director
Recovery Specialist Supervisor Qualifications- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent GED
- Minimum of three years of supervised experience in substance use treatment, or a closely related field
