High Point & Affiliated Organizations is a health and human service agency whose mission is to prevent and treat substance use and mental health disorders. High Point has programs located throughout southeastern Massachusetts offering a full continuum of care for substance use and mental health treatment, including inpatient, outpatient, residential, and community-based services. Programs and services also assist survivors of abuse, violence, and families experiencing homelessness.

Location:

Mobile Crisis Services / Brockton

Education: Masters degree in Behavioral Health field

Pay Range: $80,000

Shift: Sunday-Wednesday, 7am-3:30pm;
Friday-Monday 3pm-11:30pm

Status: Full Time/Part Time/Per Diem

Masters Level Clinician Requirements
  • Must present as courteous and professional at all times
  • Demonstrated flexibility and ability to perform multiple tasks
  • Must have excellent communication skills, including the ability to organize ideas in logical and clear fashion
  • Must have the ability to work with others in cooperative and collaborative fashion
  • TB screening
  • Certification in the HPTC approved de-escalation program
  • Strong and effective verbal, written and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of basic computer skills and software programs including the ability to learn, use and train HPTC's electronic medical records
  • Ability to provide leadership and program development within an outpatient site
  • Knowledge of major clinical therapeutic models and behavioral health best practice
  • Strong organizational, verbal and written communication
Masters Level Clinician Duties And Responsibilities
  • Maintains and submits any current Licensure or Certificate necessary for the performance of the position
  • Comply with Federal Regulations, 42 CFR Part 2, Confidentiality of Alcohol Abuse Policy and HIPAA Regulations
  • Participate in Treatment Team Meetings
  • Crisis intervention and screening for patients at risk
  • Maintain assigned caseload
  • Providing direct care to patients – including assessments of the new patients, individual counseling, discharge planning, treatment plans, daily progress notes, daily groups, group note completion and completion of bio-psychosocial assessments
  • Responsible for each assigned patient's medical records, which are to be professional, complete and thorough with entries made in a timely manner
  • Provide direct care to patients – including individual counseling, group facilitation, lectures, orientation for new patient discharge and aftercare planning, and case management of patients assigned
  • Responsible for linking patients with aftercare services prior to discharge and aiding the patient and his/her family access outpatient services when appropriate
  • Attend all unit, facility meetings and case conferences as directed by the Clinical Director;
    Attend mandatory trainings
  • Responsible for contacting the insurance company for authorization, as needed
  • Utilize standard precautions at all times
  • Demonstrates behaviors that recognize the rights of patients as defined by the patient's rights
  • Other duties as assigned by the Clinical Program Director, Clinical Supervisor or Assistant Program
Masters Level Clinician Qualifications
  • Master/Doctoral degree in Human Services related field such as psychology or social work required
  • Independently licensed Behavioral Health Clinician, including LICSW/LMHC/LMFT/LADC1/LABA
  • Master Clinicians licensed eligible encouraged
