Roessel Joy has partnered with an established Construction company on a new Controller role. The ideal candidate will have strong construction experience, experience owning the month-end-close, and supporting the payroll function.
Responsibilities- Oversee daily accounting functions including month-end-close, payroll, and AP/AR.
- Prepare monthly financial statements.
- Oversee budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Support job costing reporting.
- Maintain strong internal controls.
- Manage and mentor accounting staff.
- Oversee the annual audit.
- Bachelors in accounting or finance.
- 5+ years of accounting experience.
- Experience owning the month-end-close process and annual audit.
- Strong experience working in the construction industry.
- Experience supporting the payroll function.
