Overview

We are currently seeking a Early Education Diagnostician Facilitator for Full-time (Monday - Friday 8:45AM - 3:30PM).

The Early Ed Facilitator works with a group of professionals in the Early Education Center to assess students between the ages of 2.9 - 5.11 for accommodations or modifications. The facilitator uses Dr. Linder's TPBA to assess students and collaborates with a team of professionals to help develop IEPs after assessing.

This is a fully in-person position, no remote work is available.

Responsibilities

How you’ll be there for students:

Be their advocate, difference maker, and guide.

Be there to identify each child’s unique learning and developmental needs. With your expertise and our proven resources, you’ll ensure that every child receives the educational support and opportunities they need to thrive during their foundational learning years.

  • Conduct comprehensive educational, developmental, and behavioral assessments for early learners.
  • Interpret assessment data and determine eligibility for special education or related services in compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Make phone calls to screen incoming families using the Student Assistance Checklist (SAC) and accurately document all information from those calls.
  • Collaborate with families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized education programs (IEPs) and service recommendations.
  • Attend IEP meetings during the school day as requested to provide diagnostic input and assist in educational planning.
  • Communicate evaluation results clearly and compassionately to parents, teachers, and administrators.
  • Provide consultation and support to early childhood educators on instructional strategies, classroom accommodations, and interventions.
  • Maintain accurate, confidential records and complete required documentation within established timelines.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, student review meetings, and professional development sessions.
  • Stay current on best practices and evolving standards in early childhood assessment and special education.

Qualifications

What we’ll need from you:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Special Education, School Psychology, Counseling, Educational Assessment, or related field required.
  • Must have DESE license or certification in related area.
  • Early childhood education or early intervention experience strongly recommended.
  • Knowledge of early childhood development, diagnostic assessments, and special education regulations (IDEA, Section 504, etc.).
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Unwavering belief that all children can learn.
  • Positive and enthusiastic attitude.
  • Proficiency in digital data systems and educational assessment platforms.
