The Accounts Receivable Lead oversees day‑to‑day AR and collections activity while remaining hands‑on with key tasks such as collections outreach, posting and reconciling payments, and resolving account discrepancies. This role serves as a go‑to resource for AR processes, supports accuracy and timeliness in receivables, and partners with internal teams to improve cash flow and customer experience.
What will a typical day look like for you?- Lead daily AR/collections workflow and serve as the escalation point for complex accounts
- Make daily collection calls and support consistent follow‑up practices
- Conduct account research and analysis; identify trends, disputes, and root causes
- Accurately post payments to customer accounts using ABS
- Reconcile and resolve account discrepancies
- Maintain spreadsheets using strict confidentiality with customer credit card information and check‑by‑phone information
- Send statements to outstanding customers
- Interact with customers to resolve outstanding issues and negotiate payment solutions when appropriate
- Provide customer service for customer inquiries regarding payment history
- Print monthly aging reports and review results
- Ensure AR documentation is organized; sort and file documents after posting
- Monday–Friday schedule with weekends and holidays off

- College degree or equivalent experience (additional education in accounting/finance is a plus)
- 3+ years of Accounts Receivable and/or Collections experience (lead or senior experience strongly preferred)
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and AR best practices
- Strong math and reconciliation skills with high attention to detail
- Speedy, accurate data entry skills
- Ability to perform mathematical computations (percentages, fractions, addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) quickly and accurately
- Strong communication skills for customer outreach and internal coordination
- Comfortable handling confidential payment information
