Packaging Lead - 1st Shift

• Lead and supervise a team of packaging associates.
• Provide guidance, training, and support to team members.
• Ensure that the team meets production goals and quality standards.
• Collaborate with production planning teams to schedule packaging activities based on production requirements.
• Allocate resources effectively to meet production targets.
• Implement and enforce quality control procedures for packaging processes.
• Monitor packaging lines to ensure products meet quality standards.
• Address any issues related to packaging quality promptly.
• Oversee the operation and maintenance of packaging machinery.
• Coordinate with maintenance staff to address equipment issues and schedule preventive maintenance.
• Maintain accurate records of packaging activities, including production volumes, downtime, and quality control measures.
• Generate reports for management on packaging performance and efficiency.
• Enforce safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to packaging and labeling.
• Communicate regularly with other department leads and managers to ensure smooth coordination of production activities.
• Address any issues or concerns raised by team members.
