Truck Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled truck technician to join the nationally recognized Ohio Peterbilt team in Cleveland, OH. Monday‑Friday – 12:30 pm to 9:00 pm (Second Shift)

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• A vocational diploma or degree in diesel or truck repair is required.
• Four to six years of related experience or training is required, or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
• CDL license recommended.
• A valid driver’s license and clean driving record are required.
• Preferred certifications: MX Engine, Cummins Heavy Duty, Cummins Mid‑Range, Allison Transmission, or Eaton Transmission.

• Self‑motivated and detail‑oriented with solid organizational and time‑management skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and good problem‑solving skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Works well with a team and managers.

Employee must use hands to handle, feel, reach, and talk or hear. Must stand, walk, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, and crouch. Occasionally seated. Must regularly lift or move up to 40 pounds, and frequently lift or move up to 50 pounds. Vision requirements include color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Noise level usually quiet in office settings and moderate to loud in other situations, with constant and sudden loud noises possible.
