Prepare year-end tax provision schedules, LIFO schedules, returns, payments, necessary paperwork and reports. Prepare and file monthly, quarterly and annual various tax returns, i.e. sales tax, commercial activity tax, severance tax, IFTA, etc. Provide professional assistance and guidance during audits. Other duties may include reconciling cash balances, balancing inventories, commercial card balancing, monthly/daily journal entries and reconciling system balances. Audit data request assistance, expense analysis and special project support as needed.

• In-depth knowledge of accounting standards and processes including basic knowledge of DBS, CODA, Karmak or other accounting software.
• Able to use a computer with intermediate knowledge of Microsoft applications.
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written, to communicate accounting matters with internal and external customers in a professional and positive manner.
• Detail oriented and willing to multitask.
• Strong organizational skills to meet strict deadlines.
• Strong research skills relating to corporate compliance issues.
• Must have the ability to work with data from multiple sources and systems.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
• 3-5 years experience in Accounting preferred. Minimum of 3 years experience with Audit/Tax preferred.

Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting; to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time; to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight; to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard;

and to verbally communicate to exchange information. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet in office settings and moderate to loud in other situations, with both constant and sudden loud noises possible.
