Are you a qualified accountant with a passion for large scale capital projects and robust financial controls?
Element Recruitment are delighted to be partnering exclusively with a Bristol based, international business in their search for a Financial Accountant at an exciting time of investment and growth.
Working within the Financial Reporting and Control team, you will take ownership of the fixed asset register and oversee financial management of key capital project spend, as well as:
Key Responsibilities:- Capital Management: Manage the end-to-end control of the Fixed Asset Register and provide financial oversight for extensive CAPEX projects.
- Reporting & Compliance: Support the production of statutory financial statements and ensure all disclosures meet current reporting standards.
- Audit Liaison: Act as a key point of contact for external auditors, streamlining audit activities and ensuring all queries are resolved efficiently.
- Process Improvement: Maintain and enhance the internal control environment to support the scale of upcoming investments.
This role would be ideal for a recently qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA), looking to take the next step in their career with significant growth and exposure opportunities, with strong mentorship. You will ideally have prior knowledge of capital expenditure / fixed asset accounting processes, with good knowledge of financial reporting standards with experience of either producing or auditing financial statements and disclosures.
Working on a hybrid working model of 3 days per week in Bristol, this role will pay up to £55,000 plus a strong suite of benefits, including private medical care, above average pension and a discretionary performance related bonus.
