Technical Estimator – Mechanical / HVAC

Our client is a well-established engineering manufacturer supplying specialist fire and smoke control solutions used within HVAC ductwork systems across commercial and industrial buildings. With a strong reputation for technical quality and compliance, they work closely with contractors, consultants and developers across the UK.
The RoleDue to continued growth, the business is looking to appoint a Technical Estimator. The role involves reviewing enquiries, interpreting technical drawings and specifications, and producing accurate quotations for bespoke mechanical products. You’ll work closely with internal engineering teams and external stakeholders to ensure solutions are technically correct and commercially competitive.
Requirements- Minimum 3 years’ experience in technical estimating
- Background in mechanical engineering, HVAC or building services preferred
- Engineering qualification (HNC/HND, apprenticeship or similar)
- Ability to read technical drawings and tender documents
- Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
- £40,000 – £45,000 salary
