New year, new job. If you are a Civil Engineer with consultancy experience and want to build real technical depth in 2025, this is a strong opportunity to do exactly that. This role suits a Civil Engineer who wants more responsibility, better project exposure and clear progression within a growing Bristol team.
You will be joining a well-established civil engineering consultancy delivering residential, commercial and mixed-use developments across the UK. With continued investment into the Bristol office, this Civil Engineer position offers long-term stability, technical variety and the chance to progress alongside experienced senior engineers.
The roleAs a Civil Engineer, you will support the design and delivery of infrastructure projects from early concept through to construction.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing highways designs for S38 and S278 agreements
- Producing drainage strategies and designs for S104 and S185 submissions
- Creating drawings and models using AutoCAD, Civil 3D and Info Drainage
- Supporting earthworks assessments, feasibility studies and reports
- Liaising with clients, local authorities and project stakeholders
- Managing your own design tasks while working closely with senior engineers
This role suits a capable Civil Engineer who is keen to progress.
You will ideally have:
- Experience with in a UK civil engineering consultancy
- Knowledge of S38, S278, S104 and S185 agreements
- Confident AutoCAD skills and exposure to drainage software
- Strong communication and organisation skills
