M&M Supply is seeking dedicated and compassionate Pastoral Mentors to work within secondary school settings across Bristol. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about supporting young people with additional learning needs (ALN/SEND) and helping them overcome barriers to learning.

• Provide 1:1 and small group pastoral support to secondary-aged pupils
• Support students with additional learning needs, including SEND and SEMH
• Assist students in managing emotions, behaviour, and relationships
• Work in classrooms, breakout rooms, and intervention spaces
• Support pupils who may display challenging behaviour, using positive behaviour strategies
• Build trusting relationships with students, staff, and families
• Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral teams
• Promote safeguarding, wellbeing, and inclusion at all times

• Experience working with children or young people, ideally in a school or support setting
• A calm, patient, and resilient approach
• Confidence in supporting pupils with additional learning needs
• Ability to manage and de‑escalate challenging behaviour positively
• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills
• A genuine passion for supporting young people's wellbeing and development
