As a Pre-Sales Technical Consultant at Optimus, you will play a crucial role in shaping and strengthening our position as a relationship‑led, consultative partner to our clients. You will lead the development and support of both new and existing client functions, ensuring they are equipped with innovative, efficient, and strategically aligned solutions.

Working collaboratively with Operations, Sales, Client Retention, Marketing, and MI, you will propose, design, and implement business‑focused solutions that address client needs and drive meaningful results. This includes engaging with clients to understand their business models, strategic priorities, and operational challenges, and translating these insights into tailored recommendations that support long‑term success. You will also work closely with the Sales function to identify opportunities to grow market share and strengthen Optimus’s commercial impact.

You will:

  • Collaborate with Sales, Client Retention, and clients to develop deep knowledge of selected accounts, including their business models, strategic direction, financial structures, and operational resources. Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to position Optimus as a trusted provider of domain‑specific solutions.
  • Contribute to the development of account strategies for initiatives such as Project
    28, Landmark Connect, and other Landmark solutions. Identify opportunities for tailored solutions and coordinate with internal and external partners to meet client needs.
  • Analyse and support business requirements to ensure clarity across all stakeholders. Present proposed solutions to both clients and internal teams, ensuring alignment and understanding.
  • Provide training and guidance to the Optimus team to enhance their understanding of business processes. Offer escalated support for internal queries related to solutions and the broader product suite.
  • Maintain expert‑level knowledge of the property industry, including residential and commercial conveyancing, legal software, and broader market trends. Support market share growth by anticipating and exceeding client expectations.
  • Assist with the technical and domain aspects of complex new business opportunities, enhancements and support for existing clients. Enables the definition and delivery of complex solutions via professional services or internal/external partnerships. Maintaining technical process for API & Optimus Case Manager outages to review and implement preventative measures for future protection.
  • Participate in strategic meetings with existing clients (alongside CRC’s) and new business prospects (with Sales and BD teams) to guide product direction and client growth.
  • Maintain and review technical processes for API and Optimus Case Manager outages, implementing preventative measures to mitigate future risks.
  • Foster cross‑departmental collaboration to proactively identify group opportunities, service gaps, and limitations within Optimus’s current offerings. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that align with and support the unified strategic objectives of the wider Landmark Group

About You

You’re a proactive, solutions‑focused professional with experience working directly with customers to design and deliver bespoke solutions. You’re confident in capturing requirements, providing training, offering support, and guiding customers through onboarding and technical problem‑solving.

Curious by nature, you enjoy understanding complex challenges and translating them into clear, practical solutions. You build trust quickly, particularly with senior stakeholders, through credible communication, active listening, and a consultative approach. You’re able to propose integrated solutions that align closely with customer needs, demonstrating both technical understanding and commercial awareness.
