Delivery Driver

Overview

Delivery Driver - Bristol role at Tie Talent (Ocado Logistics). You will deliver quality products on time and interact with customers while on the move.

We use automated technology to pre-plan routes and pre-load vans. Working patterns include evenings and weekends in addition to weekdays, with base pay plus premiums that can increase average hourly earnings. All breaks are paid.

• Deliver groceries and other products to customers in a timely and courteous manner.
• Follow pre-planned routes and loading procedures to ensure efficient deliveries.
• Engage with customers professionally as part of a customer-facing role.
• Adhere to safety and company policies while delivering in all weather conditions.
• Participate in pre-employment checks and ongoing security and compliance processes as required (Licence Check, Right to Work, DBS).

• Full UK or EU driving licence.
• Minimum 6 months driving experience (12 months desirable).
• Maximum 6 penalty points; no disqualifications in the past 5 years.
• Over 18 years old for handling alcohol deliveries.
• Good communication skills for a customer-facing role.

• Contract type:
  Permanent
• Contract hours: 40 hours (including paid breaks)
• Contracted days: any 5 days out of 7; shifts AM & PM; start as early as 05:30, finish by 00:00; rota available up to 13 weeks in advance
• Pay structure: lunar pay (paid every 4 weeks)
• Hourly pay rates:
  Basic £13.44;
  Evening Premium from 6pm £1.12;
  Sunday Day Premium £1.34;
  Sunday Evening Premium £2.58;
  Overtime rates shown
