HGV Driver

Overview

WPRG is recruiting for a HGV Driver Class 2 to work on an ongoing basis for its client based in Leyton, E10.

This role involves multi drop deliveries of baked goods in a Class 2 vehicle.

• Conduct multi-drop deliveries of baked goods in a Class 2 vehicle.

• Minimum of 1 year HGV Class 2 driving experience
• Experience in HGV Class 2 multi-drop deliveries
• Maximum of 6 points on licence for minor offences (No DD/DR/IN/CD codes)
• Good communication skills
• Good knowledge of Drivers Hours and Working Time Directive
• Willingness to work weekends; rota provided a week in advance

Start times are between 00:00 and 04:00, or nights; you must be flexible to start within these hours.

Driving assessment including a theory test is required as part of the pre-employment process.

• Pay rates: £17.37 per hour, 7 days a week (rate increase in near future)
• Holiday accrues on top at 13%
