Logistics Manager

The Opportunity

Madigan Gill Logistics is seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to join the team on a residential development at The Boatyard, Bristol, delivered for Clarion Housing. This is a key site-based role responsible for overseeing all logistics operations to ensure the smooth, safe, and efficient running of the project.

• Develop and implement the site logistics plan
• Manage all site access, deliveries, and traffic management
• Coordinate material call-offs and storage solutions
• Oversee gate staff, traffic marshals, and logistics operatives
• Ensure site cleanliness and organisation are maintained at all times
• Manage waste removal and environmental controls
• Liaise closely with Site Managers and subcontractors to maintain programme
• Conduct daily briefings and toolbox talks
• Maintain high Health & Safety standards across logistics operations
• Monitor and report on logistics performance and site compliance

• Proven experience as a Logistics Manager on residential or large-scale construction projects
• Strong understanding of site operations and sequencing
• SMSTS or SSSTS
• CSCS Card
• Traffic Management knowledge
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and suppliers

• Experience working on housing association or residential schemes
• First Aid qualification
