HGV Class 1 Driver - Avonmouth

We are currently recruiting for full time HGV Class 1 drivers for Permanent roles in our depot in Bristol/Avonmouth. The role consists of refrigerated multi-drop deliveries to shops and stores, up to 15 drops per day with tail lift and cages. £300 per month Retention payment per month

Immediate starts for successful candidates upon passing assessment and induction process.

Start between 02:00-04:00

• Thursday to Monday
• Friday-Tuesday
• Wednesday - Sunday

Start 14:00

• Saturday - Wednesday

• Monday – Friday £16.63 (overtime after 47.5hrs £18.71)
• Saturday £18.71
• Sunday and Bank Holidays £24.95

• Monday – Friday £19.00 (overtime after 47.5hrs £21.38)
• Saturday £21.38
• Sunday and Bank Holidays £28.50

30-minute break deducted per shift only!

• In-date DIGI and CPC card
• Enthusiastic, reliable, helpful and organised individual.
• Willing to work weekends.
• Motivated and open to learn new skills.
• Demonstrates an excellent attitude to work.

• Driving within the WTD and EU regs and rules.
• Prepping vehicles for delivery.
• Completing vehicle checks.
• Refuelling vehicles.
• The driver must ensure that the highest levels of customer service are maintained on the round and orders are fulfilled on time and in full.
