HGV Class C Driver (RORO & Bulk Tipper)

£15.98 - £19.40 per hour

Full-Time | Permanent | 4 on / 4 off Shift Pattern

Due to continued business growth and expansion, we are currently recruiting 2 x HGV Class C Drivers for an immediate start.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established, 24/7/365 waste management operation, working within a professional and safety-focused environment.

The Role

As an HGV Driver, you will be responsible for the collection and delivery of solid waste materials. The role primarily involves operating:

* 32-ton RORO (Roll-On Roll-Off) vehicles

* Bulk tippers

This position operates on a 4 days on / 4 days off shift pattern, with 6:00am starts, including weekend work as part of the rota.

Key Responsibilities

* Safe collection and delivery of solid waste

* Completing daily vehicle checks and reporting defects

* Adhering to all Health & Safety regulations and site procedures

* Ensuring accurate paperwork and compliance requirements are met

* Maintaining high standards of professionalism and customer service

Requirements

* Valid HGV Class C licence

* Previous experience driving 32-ton RORO and/or bulk tippers preferred

* Waste industry experience highly desirable

* Strong attention to detail

* Health & Safety conscious approach

* Ability to pass a driving assessment and basic H&S courses prior to employment

Training & Development

Successful candidates will have the opportunity to receive additional training to operate other plant and machinery, including:

* Telehandlers

* Loading shovels

* Excavators

Pay & Benefits

 * £15.98 - £19.40 per hour

* PAYE:
From £16.00 per hour

* LTD:
Up to £20.00 per hour

* Bonus scheme available
